M.I.A

So sorry blogging world!
I haven't posted for a month!
wow that's like a life time in blogland
anyways. . .
as you can see I've made some changes.
I hope everyone likes them!. . .
if not, get over it, it's my blog---not yours! :P
I thought of the idea while reading in Nephi one night.
The chapter starts out with Nephi saying,

"I, Nephi, having been born of goodly parents, therefore I was taught somewhat in all the learning of my father; and having seen many afflictions in the course of my days, nevertheless, having been highly favored of the Lord in all my days; yea, having had a great knowledge of the goodness and the mysteries of God, therefore I make a record of my proceedings in my days."

I love that verse. I too have been born of goodly parents who have taught me so much!
And although this isn't the same kind of record Nephi kept, it's a record of my proceedings in my days.
so I made the changes, and my blog is now: I, Sapphire

a lot has happened in just a few weeks.
-school started up again
-my daddy was put in the hospital
-my prom dress came in
-basketball season is still to be continued (does that make sense?? o well)
-I miss my sister
-my nails have been getting soo long (it's always been a bad habit of mine, picking at my nails, finally quite)
ya stuff like that.
so official news i'm back and i'll try not to be gone for so long again.
keep the followers comin'!

Tonight . . .

. . .is one of those nights that I just feel like crying. So much is changing around me and honestly, it makes me wanna break down into my pillow sobbing.
I know time will help but it's hard to look past the pain right now. It will only get better though.
I'll try to be strong.

On a happier note we had an awesome basketball game. We won 60-40 and I scored 25 points. That. is. what. is. keeping. me. happy.
I love basketball.

the end
p.s. comments and likes would definitely help the mood ;)
so would. . .

that's all.

Oh basketball, how I've missed you

I must say basketball is my favorite sport. I absolutely love the feeling of running down the court after a great play I made or an awesome shot I took. I love having the crowd watch my team. Anything you do, they see. Which is both scary and nerve-wrecking but at the same time exciting and thrilling. Well anyway, basketball started today! The next three months will be crazy with practices and games. I can't wait to see what this season will bring.
